Outlook: Todd Porter is the second wrestler in five years to attend Missouri after completing a successful career at Northwest High School. Porter will compete at 157 pounds and is expected to use his redshirt season to compete in various tournaments where he will develop his wrestling skills and likely vie for a spot in Missouri's lineup in the upcoming years. "Todd reminds me of a young Michael Chandler," Missouri Head Coach Brian Smith said. "They went to the same high school, they have the same style of wrestling, they both have great athletic ability and they both have that same drive and determination to get on the mat every day." High School: Coached by Ron and Bob Wilhelm at Northwest High School in Housesprings, Mo., Porter wrestled in the Missouri High School Championships his sophomore year (2006) placing fifth at 190 pounds, and his senior year (2008) placing third at 160 pounds.
